Monica Sterling, Paraprofessional
Monica is originally from Kingman, Kansas where she graduated from High School. Monica has attended Vo-Tech and studied business. She received a Certificate of Mastery from NOC.
Monica has served children for 17 years, and for the past 11 years has been employed with Alva Public Schools. Her favorite part of her career is seeing a child’s face light up with excitement when they learn something new, or accomplish their goals!
Ms. Sterling has two children, Micheela “Kealy”, who is employed with Alva Public Schools as a Title I Aid, and Jeremy, who is an Alva High School student. She has three brothers in Kansas, a sister in North Carolina and a sister who resides in Alva.
Monica loves her family and collects snowmen and crosses. As a family they were all baptized! Also, she is a proud Kingman Eagle, but loves the GOLDBUGS, especially #76!
